    RARE MISS CAROL Dress / Folk Linen 1950s 60s 70s Dress / Made in Hawaii

    Miss Carol was a Hawaii Brand that existed between the 50s -70s - they made stylish outfits for the elegant and extravagant woman.
    It was very rare to see a brand from Hawaii with complicated hand made designs since it was an era of florally bright color polyester This particular dress cannot be located anywhere online or archive making us believe that it was one of few that were made.

    The style is very Folk Meadow 60s 70s style with embroidered tan jute border trim and linen lace front panel • butterfly loose sleeves with what use to be an elastic cap that is now loose and creates a open sleeve • high neckline • back metal zipper

    Color is a ivory white
    Size: S (model is a XS so it sat a bit more loose on her)
    From shoulder to bottom hem
    - 53'' long - roughly 4 1/2 feet
    - 17.5'' long sleeves
    - 13'' at its widest sleeves
    - 28'' under breast all around

    An absolute gem of a condition. Great no rips no damage.
    Small tiny age stains scattered randomly in a few places but it blends with the linen giving it an authentic meadow vibes
    Elastic that is suppose to create a 'puff' sleeve is worn out so that sleeve is more relax and more boho style

    Conditions of return

    Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

    Shipping prices?

    Aloha, shipping from Hawaii can be tedious, because it will most likely be going across the ocean.
    We have found the easiest and most environmentally friendly way to ship to you while maintaining a low cost. That is using recycled boxes and paper while shipping through USPS.
    Shipping will take 2-5 days to get to you depending on where you live. For quicker shipping options or express mail please message me and I can arrange something for you.
    For bulkier items I will almost always use USPS Parcel Select to ship.
    Using this method saves your about $30 in shipping but will take 1-3 weeks - (some are lucky and get to them in 5 days.) If you'd prefer to use a different method please message me prior to buying your item.

    Care instructions

    A lot of our items are vintage and will require a little love. We don't want to ruin the sanctity of its age so we try our best not to mess with its original condition. If it's a bit dusty, we probably left it that way.

    What if I don't like my item once I get it?

    There is no refunds but I would gladly exchange your item for something else in the shop. Exchanges will include shipping prices.
    Due to extreme conditions I will do a refund (ex. etsy glitches, stains I didn't mention in my description) but you will not be getting a full refund because of etsy fees and shipping.

    What if my item was damaged during freight?

    I promise that we package all orders with extra care and stuffing (almost always recycled.) We do this to ensure your package arrives safely to you while also saving the planet from waste. Unfortunately we can not control what happens to your package once it leaves our hands and into the hands of the shipping company - USPS. We cannot be accountable of damages caused during that period of time under USPS therefor a full refund will not be given by me. I will however make a claim with USPS to see if they will be able to give partial refund or full refund to you. We do understand though that sh** happens so we will love to work things out.

    What if I put down the wrong address and my items gets returned or lost?

    Unfortunately I can't help you there except for reaching out to the USPS people and tracking your item. It is your responsibility to make sure your address is correct prior to the shipping date. If there is a return I'll have to charge you extra to resend your item to the correct address.

    Why don't I get a receipt in my box?

    I try to use as little paper as possible, and if it's being used it's almost always recycled. If you'd prefer a receipt in your box please message me or leave a note in the note section.
